NINE KAKAIBANG FILMS, ONE KAKAIBANG FESTIVAL
(Click the link for teasers/trailers)
- An anthology film, directed by Joel Ferrer, with three interconnected stories featuring different perspectives on love. The first story involves a man in his late twenties who, in the process of nursing a broken heart, gets his former high school classmate pregnant after a one-night stand. The second story sees a young couple experiencing cold feet over their first time to have sex. The third story revolves around a pair of divorced parents who rekindle their lost romance, even though they are now married to new spouses.
- Directed by Sheron Dayoc, a horror movie that looks into the relationship between a daughter and her pious mother, whose religious fanaticism is starting to border on demonic possession.
- Directed by Andrew Payawal, this is a story of a thirty-something actress who's about to commit suicide, after she realizes that her fame has faded. But her planned death gets delayed after she receives a package containing four letters and a dead man's ashes in a vase.
- Equal parts documentary, drama film and biopic by Sari Lluch Dalena, which stars Raymond Bagatsing and Mara Lopez, that explores the life and works of the late National Artist for Literature, Nick Joaquin.
- An action drama, directed by Bor Ocampo and starring Junjun Quintana, that centers on legalized corruption and the ties that bind fathers and sons in a dog-eat-dog world. The title of the film is in Kapampangan and literally means "dugong aso", or "dog-blodded."
- Written and directed by  Ralston Jover, the film follows the lives of four street children who live as petty criminals. The term "batang hamog" refers to gangs of street kids involved in bag-snatching and stealing from cars stuck in traffic.
- An animated feature film directed by Carl Joseph Papa that tells a story of how an old lady with a terminal illness will go through great lengths just to give her long-estranged daughter an extra special Christmas.
- Directed by Raymond Red, stars Jeffrey Quizon, Felix Roco, Nicco Manalo and Earl Ignacio as a barkada of dreamers who discover the emergence of a new cinematic culture in the aftermath of the EDSA People Power Revolution of 1986.
